Jesus isn't coming back

The idea that Jesus will be returning to the earth from heaven is a main tenet of Christianity, prophesied throughout the new testament by Jesus and his followers. His return will usher in the apocalypse and is thusly highly anticipated by Christians across the world. There are many references and prophecies within the bible to the even including many signs which we are to look out for, but the best way to find out when Jesus will return is to see what he said about it.


Matthew 24
30"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
32"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Matthew 16

Mark 13

Well I think that's fairly obvious, Jesus prophesied his own return within the lifetime of his followers and within one generation. And yet here we are 2000 years later still waiting. His followers obviously believed he was coming back soon.


Revelations 1
1The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, 2who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.


Hebrews1
1In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe


But he hasn't come back, has he? And his false prophecies make him subject to the death sentence in biblical law. Can a false prophet be considered the son of God or God incarnate?

I say to you

"He is not the messiah! He is a very naughty boy!"

I've been censored!!

Just went to overhaul my windows live space and found it had been taken down because of a terms of use violation. More specifically the pictures of Adam and Eve I had posted on there. It's difficult to comprehend how petty you'd have to be to object to a painting depicting a scene from genesis. This on top of the fact that the video i uploaded to my space was removed within the hour, and I was careful to check for nudity. Goddamn it!

Let's hope this one lasts, I wasn't aware that anyone even read my blogs. Well at least my spaces blog was a complete fake designed to mislead the people I argue with on youtube, I was just going to clean it up and make it honest and dang it was gone *sigh*

So I've moved house, I hope it's a nice area. I hope to actually include some of the things I am interested in on here, so it should be more interesting to write.
